For over 50 years, Southampton Summer Day Camp has been a place where children can explore, grow, and build lifelong memories. Located in beautiful Upper Southampton, Bucks County, our camp welcomes boys and girls ages 3–14 to experience the very best in day camping.

Founded by Rick and Jacque Blum, lifelong educators and visionaries, Southampton blends tradition with innovation. Rick’s passion for athletics—both as a player and coach—paired with Jacque’s creativity, love for the arts, and dedication to children, has shaped a camp program that inspires confidence, character, and fun.

Now led by their daughter, Lindsay, the next generation of leadership brings fresh energy and care to camp. With camp in her DNA, Lindsay grew up at SSDC, holding nearly every role over the years. Her expertise in communication, community-building, and her personal experience as a parent add a new layer of attention to detail and innovation—ensuring SSDC remains a place families can trust for years to come.

At Southampton, every child matters. We believe every camper has the right to feel safe, cared for, and included while enjoying activities that build self-esteem, foster friendships, and encourage personal growth. Our goal is simple:
At the end of each day, we want your camper to come home tired, a little dirty, and full of stories—stories of adventure, laughter, and accomplishments with their camp family.

Family-owned and operated since 1973, SSDC has been a trusted summer home for generations of families. With Lindsay, Rick & Jacque’s daughter, now serving as Camp Wide Director, the next generation continues this tradition of care, community, and innovation.

Our experienced, dedicated staff is what sets SSDC apart. Over 70% of Senior Counselors have been with us for 5+ years, and many staff members return summer after summer to create lifelong memories for our campers.

At SSDC, we build friendships that last a lifetime. Signature events like Color Games and Carnival Week foster camaraderie, team spirit, and fun. These cherished traditions bring campers together year after year to celebrate the “one for all, all for one” spirit.

Every week at SSDC brings new excitement! From Hampy’s Splash Bash and Carnival Day to Olympics and Spirit Days, our special events keep campers engaged, entertained, and smiling all summer long.

• Daily salad & fruit bars

• Special treats like our weekly Yogurt Bar with fresh berries and granola

SSDC is proudly accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), the gold standard for health, safety, and program quality in camping. We undergo regular, independent evaluations to ensure we meet the highest standards for safety, staffing, and programming.

• Little Hoot’s Playhouse, a colorful maze of climbing tubes, slides, and amusements
• Pro-Wall Ga-Ga Courts, Archery, Slingshot Zone and a Bankshot Basketball for unique gameplay
• Hampy’s Kitchen, where campers “make and taste” fun treats
• Gymnastics Area featuring the Tumble Track and Mini Mountain
